The Oulu plant will be the fourth concrete mixing plant supplied by Steel-Kamet to Lujabetoni within two years. Lujabetoni and Steel-Kamet have established a very close cooperation where Lujabetoni sees Steel-Kamet as a very reliable supplier. The latest concrete mixing plant deliveries from Steel-Kamet to Lujabetoni are to the Swedish subsidiary Lujabetong Ab's facility in Stockholm, Sweden and to the Lujabetoni Oy's facilities in Kärsämäki and Järvenpää.
In the new concrete mixing plant in Oulu will be payed special attention to the high-tech equipment; large aggregate and cement silos in size and volume, powerful aggregate heating, a sufficiently large and powerful 4.5 m³ concrete mixer, as well as a control system and measuring devices of the latest technology.
An especially important feature is the ecological washing water treatment system, which will be used to recycle the concrete truck wash water in a closed cycle back to processes, to be used again as a washing water and in concrete manufacturing.
The Oulu plant is expected to be in production in the summer 2019.
